Trained at and graduated from YAMAHA PIANO TECHNICAL ACADEMY located in Hamamatsu, Japan, home of Yamaha Pianos, Nori Kashiwa is one of the few Yamaha professionally trained piano technicians in the United States.

 

After graduating from YPTA, Nori has worked as in-house chief technician at a piano retail located in his hometown, San Jose, CA.  There, he has worked with variety of pianos from all ages, being responsible for tuning, regulating, voicing, and repairing thousands of pianos in his early years.

 

His experience working with various pianos and clients of all walks of life uniquely qualifies him for working with everyone from a multi Grammy-winning musicians to people just thinking about getting their first piano for their kids.

In 2013 Nori has relocated to Pasadena, Los Angeles, CA and is serving the general San Gabriel Valley area.
